Without that movie we'd never have gotten the Neil Patrick Harris comeback and well, subsequent outing, who'd a thunk it?

Yes, he would have been stranded forever in the wasteland of his successful stage career. Confused

Seriously though, that movie was an abomination. And I am all about NPH.

You hate racist humor; your opinion is null and void.

But seriously, it was a pretty stupid movie with a few good jokes in it.

Yeah something like that...

I just walked straight into that one...

i'd kiss most people i see in rock shows for $10 a pop. no joke.

Me, I just cringe when I see people sharing water bottles lately (and not "pouring" it into the mouth - mouth on the bottle.) And mono is exactly what comes to mind. Somehow, if one gets sick, it won't be terribly cost-effective. Not sure it's a gamble I'd take, but to each his own, I suppose. LOL

I myself have shared water with strangers at rock shows. But only a couple, though. The Twang was one, as was taking Back Sunday, i'm sure. Complete and utter strangers who in the latter case, were probably half my age!

Man, you guys really like to get after people with fine toothed combs sometimes... Can't please everybody. All I can say is that I knew him as Doogie Howser, and then he was gone, I'd see him every now and then on stuff, and then he takes that Intern part and gets some great lines in a goofy movie full of some of the best quips in the last 10 years couched in a pretty stupid movie, but it was stupid fun!

Then again, I thought Pootie Tang was hilariously bad too. That's just me though, I'm one of those So Bad it's Good people. Too Much MST3000 I guess?

Oh, Mono alone is a reason to keep ones mouth to themselves.

Confused Sorry if I offended you. I was mostly kidding. I am, however, a dynamo of trivia when it comes to NPH, and feel the need to correct people who think he's done nothing in the last fifteen years.

I should use more Emoicons, been getting lazy, I am not talking anything personal or serious around here, that would be asking for a nervous breakdown. It's all in good sport, like that VH1 show, the List, anybody remember that, it was Politically Incorrect cept with actors and musicians giving their top 3s in certain categories, and then of the 5 guests they would battle and vote for the ultimate top 3 of the lists. This forum is sporting fun in that kind of way . Smile

So, I wasn't offended, just being cantankerous. Twisted Evil

I get that you're a fan, championing your cause in the name of Doogie. It's all good. You busted me, I don't follow the theater scene whatsoever cause, well, I loathe theater. Thespians are fine and dandy with certain controls in place, but to me, Theaters are for bands with reasonable sized followings, Orchestras, Operas, and famous Comedians. Plays and Musicals, just, I don't know, something to do with all the projecting of voices, just tweaks me the wrong way. I'm weird like that , maybe it has something to do with really liking Grumpy Old Men when I was a kid? Burgess Meredith was great in those movies!

That's just a great idea, and I'm sure it would make a lot of people very happy.

I'm surprised to see a city sound inertial article here, and I know the guy that wrote the article.

It was excruciating. $#@! indie hipsters are a bunch of pansy-ass Holden Caulfields who can’t get over their own imagined degradation of giving a girl $10 for a kiss, I grumbled to myself. Whatever happened to all the fun in the world?!

I always thought that Holden Caulfield really slept with the prostitute but just said he didn't, that he was what they call an "unreliable narrator"

It's one thing to meet someone and end up making out with them. That implies choice and pretty much sums up the typical college dating scene (at least when I was in college). But a sign that accepts anyone with some cash is quite another thing. Yes, they have a choice about making the sign. But I'm sure they were hoping for donations more than offer takers. Or maybe not, I don't know this musician. There is the gross out factor if the person with the cash has sores on their lips or a growth in their neck or any other signs of possible contagiousness. And of course most diseases, like mono or flu or colds, etc... have periods where the person isn't yet showing symptoms but are very contagious all the same. Certainly not worth it.
