Clicking on the Combinations buy link on eisley.com takes me to the Warner Bros record store. And then clicked on Room Noises and it has a 13th track named "Lost at Sea" and you can decide to listen to it before buying, but it asked me to give so much info first... and so, after searching, found that amazon.com also has Room Noises with 13 tracks, but you can't listen to part of track 13. This forum called it "Lost at Sea remix" and there was this ryan fisher wrote: the only copies of room noises with the lost at sea remix are the first round of advance/promo copies sent out to radio stations- the ones that don't have art or anything, and just say "eisley-room noises" in plain black text. and this Kimbrtones wrote: Just so everyone knows...the band had NOTHING to do with the remix, the making of it, or anything else.
When the band heard that, they yelled all the way from Texas in a collective harmony....NO WAY!!!!! why is the 13th track still listed on Warner Bro's Records Store? Wouldn't it be disappointing for anyone brand new to the band and who decided to buy Eisley's first album at WBRS after previewing all 13 tracks.. and then recieved only 12 tracks? When the band heard that, they yelled all the way from Texas in a collective harmony....NO WAY!!!!! That's reassuringly nice to know, I knew something was weird about it as soon as I heard it! |

At least it's not on the CD ... I'd chalk it up to them not bothering to keep up with their Web store. However, I'm not sure they even have the money to do that right now. But yeah, that should probably be changed. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

I've heard of the Lost at Sea Remix, but I've never actually heard it. I kinda really want to. is there any place online I can hear it online? Does it sound drastically different? _________________ |

thanks man, I acutally like it a lot!!! A long, loooonggg time ago, when I first started listening to Eisley I actually used to LOTHE Lost At Sea, I absolutely hated it with a passion. Then it grew on me and its now one of my favorites on Room Noises. This remix just rekindeled my love for the song! _________________ |

It wasn't cool of WB to mix it without asking lol...the only time it was ever cool for a label to mix a song was when whatever music label Simon and Garfunkel were on remixed their Sound of Silence song after their version had failed...it was cool because it saved them from splitting up after it became famous. Atleast it's not ALOT different....I have to say, this is the first time I've ever heard Lost at Sea, the original and remix. I've heard of the original, just never listened to it. _________________ Kneel before your god Babylon! Don't worry, if Warners is promoting it then nobody will ever know. (cheap shot! ) _________________ http://www.twitter.com/drstrangeblog http://www.last.fm/user/getinline I can't find the time to write my mind the way I want it to read. |

I remember first hearing this. I was embarassed. comparing it back to the time Boyd first posted that rough demo. Awful. 'd been better just putting the demo on the end. _________________ "A mathematician is a blind man in a dark room looking for a black cat which isn't there." - Charles Darwin (legend) |
