Hey....not sure if we are *actually* supposed to stop posting... But I feel like putting my 2 cents in. So what the heck??? Evanescence does not deserve any credit with regards to musical talent. I've read and heard so many things about how their entire album was auto-tuned because Amy cannot sing in tune with the band. How do no-talent people produce albums and make so much money off of the un-questioning public? I guess I just answered my own question...most people don't question. anyways....Eisley. duh. cheers, DE |

Vegetable wins the thread for best post and most creative....and a wonderful end-all statement. I thought this post was ridiculous at first, but maybe it's not so bad. I will say that the guitar player for Eisley has never left the band mid- stream during a tour and joined up with Avril Lavigne. That's one plus for vibe-ier, less mainstream, indiesque Texas rockers. And in the studio, there's very little correction; i can say that honestly and you can ask any of the 5 producers they've worked with. Every one of them marveled over the vocal intonation...and drumming. I'll bet it was a rumor about Evanescence. She's probably amazing... _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. Funny I should stumble upon this post right now as I preview the entire Evanescance album that my friend burned for me today ( I didn't have to pay for it but bought 2 copies of Eisley's Marvelous Things EP. Does that tell you which band wins in my opinion?) I love Amy Lee's voice! Gorgeous! Heartwrenching! The songs have been pretty good so far but they are no comparison to Eisley's one of a kind uniqueness and whole getup ( y'know, family plus boy next door. You can't beat that magic people). Its a LOT harder than Eisley too. Didn't they start out labeled as a Christian band too like Eisley? Both have catchy good songs, awesome lead singers, and cool-@$$ names. But as for me, Eisley all the way I say. _________________ Its all in the making. Its all yet to be. Its all leading up to your true destiny. |
