Hey Everyone! I got some videos at The Parish on Wednesday, check them out if you like. The drums are kind of loud but for the most part everything is good and the mini acoustic set sounds absolutely lovely Someone else complained about the sound at The Parish, but it is a really old venue meant for quieter shows. Still, much better sound than Antone's or Emo's. Sad (with the cult-farm story) Marvelous Things The Valley My Lovely and Kind Ten Cent Blues I Could Be There For You and Memories Christie The Fall and Sun's Light and Willow's Shade |

Well, Sherri's hair is different again. I love the videos! Great quality, and one of the first good TCB videos (if not the only) I've seen from this whole tour. I like the way they've tweaked the vocals for it. _________________ Taylor | @thbrogan http://inconnumag.com |

SamuraiPunk wrote: I enjoyed Ives the Band. I like the CD so far. Really? I kind of hate the CD. They were so great live, hearing them sound mellowed out and soft-ish on the CD is kind of a downer. I've never seen a band perform live so well but so bad on the record. Not to mention they charged $15 for it on the table when it's $9.90 on Itunes... _________________ "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated" -Mahatma, Gandhi |

^ That's how I felt about MAE's first records after seeing them live first. A new Eisley fan might feel the same way when they go back and listen to Room Noises (less so with Combinations since it's got some RAWWRR moments. ) On to the Vids... Thanks so much for shooting and posting these. Hearing the kick drum thump makes my day I'm just thinking, adding Sad, The Valley, & Smarter to the setlist alone adds alot of umph when you put it next to other songs. With Ambulance and Kind being on the mellower end, though Ambulance is bombastic as well. I'm just imagining what it might be like if they go for a Barn burning type set??? It's totally possible when you look at the full catalog of tunes _________________ yup, that's my name. FOR YOUR RATING PLEASURE: 4 LIKE Buttons, 1 NEUTRAL, 1 VEXED, 5 DISLIKE buttons. Ahhhh, you must have been in the audio-sweetspot. Sad feels like one of those songs that's going to be ubiquitous if it could just get a "wee bit" of exposure via licensing... _________________ yup, that's my name. Vox come through nicely. Stacy sure was sparkly that night with all the glam rings and hair thing (I'm a guy so I don't have to know what that's called.) _________________ http://www.twitter.com/drstrangeblog http://www.last.fm/user/getinline I can't find the time to write my mind the way I want it to read. |

My sentiments exactly. Its not the most representative of the new material, nor is it my favorite. But I am utterly convicted that if there is a hit single among the new material I've heard, it is DEFINITELY Sad. I think it has it. As you say, just needs a bit of push. |
