Pzykotic prompted me for an update. Hey. I saw 11 pages of discussion on the topic. Apologies for the delay. We've made a decision to release the EP next year, most likely in January 2012. Here's why: The EP points to LP4. It's not really a B-sides for "The Valley". We need to close out this record cycle with The Valley video (and hopefully some Christmas songs like in the past few years). Next year is going to be all about he making of LP4. With looming invisibility, we really need to put something out that reaonates, has a lasting impact & creates what cheesy marketing people call 'top of mind awareness' for us within the space between your ears as well as the industry's. Not to mention that the band hit it really hard this year with the release of a new record, sxsw, a support tour and 2 headliners, a video coming, radio support, tons of Press for all of those events have been record-breaking for us... All to say - Eisley has had a good amount of exposure this year. It's good to advance and retreat, repeat. This is retreat mode... in a few weeks we'll start talking about the video. EVR agree's. The EP was originally slated for on-line sales (iTunes, Amazon, MerchNow) but they want to release it to indie record stores now (CMIS & AIMS coalition). Yes, they are a great label, haha. Touring: we will essentially touring the EP in March. We have no routing yet but it will likely run up through the mid-west and wind through New England. We have anchored at least one date so... this is real. I am typing on my iPhone on the way to NO to hook up with Stacy & Darren to see MUTEMATH. I think I'll hit the submit button and proof this post. Thanks everyone for your patience and I hope you understand - at least a little. bd _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. We can do January. Our anticipation isn't because we ache for a new release, it's cause we've heard 3 songs and people are VERY EXCITED and PLEASED with what we heard. The timetable and considerations are sensible, reasonable, and in no way objectionable. We just got a taste and now we want to feast on the goodness. March Tour is Awesome. You guys should be support for the 2/28/12 Mutemath show, just cause _________________ yup, that's my name. FOR YOUR RATING PLEASURE: 4 LIKE Buttons, 1 NEUTRAL, 1 VEXED, 5 DISLIKE buttons. January actually feels very close right now, and I am excited about this peek at the band's plans for next year, and the pace they seem to be setting for themselves. Bring on LP4! _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

March tour? Come to New York City! Not outside in Jersey or on Long Island. We want you in Manhattan! _________________ "I shall take the heart," returned the Tin Woodsman; "for brains do not make one happy, and happiness is the best thing in the world." |

can't wait for them to start on LP4. interested in the direction they'll take for it. didn't stacy tweet this past spring after the first show of the first headlining tour that she and sherri were in the back of the van already talking about ideas for LP4? _________________ Oneironaut http://www.facebook.com/ChengBand |

At first I was a little teeny tiny bit sad I wouldn't hear new music this winter but more that I think about it, I think January is MUCH better. Especially if it will be sold as a physical copy. I much rather that than an itunes thing. I think this is a great decision and January is like...2 months away so its not far far off from original release date. I am SUPER excited for this and what the band has in store _________________ twitter.com/justcameron follow me |
