hello everyone, my name is john, and i'm a newbie....

now, having just learned of Eisley about a week ago... i don't really know

much about them.

so, i came up with this... Eisley101 - for the new guy or gal who wants to know more than just the basic facts

i thought maybe people could post interesting things they know about the
band, things that one couldn't pick up from the webpage.

i'd like to start it off with a question, if i may:

why is, or was kimbrtones in the hospital?

hey. welp... she went into the hospital for chest pains; stress test,
orthoscopic exploration (nuclear dye) proved 100% blockage in major
artery, icu, prep'd for angioplasty, blood levels dropped, they waited 2
weeks for blood count to get healthy, performed 5 hr angioplasty...and
now 2 weeks later, she's great. (and we're back in La recording).

thanks. glad to have you on the forum. bd

Oh yeah, the FAQ (right above EISLEY BLOG on the main page) is a wealth of info. Also, the Search function can do wonders, and help reduce repeated (annoying) threads. Very Happy

OMG, they like, so rule. Shocked

I'd spend another $6 and get the Laughing City EP. The progression from LC -> MT is a whole book worth of Eisley knowledge in itself.

I saw Kim last night at the living room. She looked good.

Here's an interesting tidbit about Eisley:
They like to eat carrots with their toes. I don't ask or pretend to know why they do this, they just do. And they like to eat raw steak and cut it up with a machete. Yup, that's right. Totally factual.

*Maybe I shouldn't do this to a newbie. Perhaps he'll take my attempt at humor seriously and forsake the forum....naaaaaaaaah. I think my story is a bit too far fetched.*

They also like to randomly attack people on the street and tickle them until they bleed.

That's easy. Because they sold their souls to the little known Hindu god of musical talent and ironically, BBQ Ribs, Musicandu. Now they are his puppets. Duh.

Or maybe they're all extremely talented kids with great parents who have nutured their creativity and helped them become the band they are today. But where's the humor in that?

all i know is that i'm gonna have some 4 or 5 kids and lock them in a house with a piano, a set of drums, 2 guitars, and a bass when i get older

and i'll make them listen to eisley, coldplay, and brand new (cause i love them) all the time!

or would that severely harm them?

Nah. I think that would do them some good. Kids these days need discipline. In fact, that's kinda Selena-ish. (note to self: You've seen that movie one too many times...you should've stopped at 1)

Woah, back up a few posts. Tickled until bleeding?

My my, I think the surgeon general ought to be informed of this horrid possibility and warn the american public of the impending danger...If not, we're all DOOMED

*two guys in background echo 'DOOMED', rather like that commercial for UPS or whoever*
