i don't work at the one you guys (the duprees) go to but i work at one in the valleys. i feel real bad whenever i hear about how you guys got treated Embarassed i could go on and on about why you got snubbed the way you did on more than one occasion but most of it probably had to do with the strike and how it made everyone so uptight. i promise though, if you guys ever get lost in the so-cal valleys and fate drops you at my ralph's we RULE (meaning we're much friendlier and the only rule you must abide by is to not make me bag your groceries in plastic in paper in plastic in paper tied up)

hey Natasha.

Too bad you're not at our location. We'd have a buddy...someone to run
interference for us for us... and to show us where to find "fiber". We
looked and looked...but couldn't find any.

Welcome to the forum. Please stay. We won't call security.

she was right! wheat germ is what you need. or you can get pills! i don't know how you'd eat wheat germ or what with so pills kind of seem a little appealing right now.

Ralphs was the only grocery store we had where I used to live. The people at that one were really nice.

wheat germ....like, it's a cereal on the cereal isle? I don't think so.
but in the "health food section", there's like wheat bran... it looks like
little flakey thinkgs...small, light. I remember bran being more like tiny
soft moon rocks....burnt sienna colored. These were beige. I'm confused.
Nothing said fiber.

it's not actually a cereal, it comes in a clear container and it'll say wheat germ on it. you pretty much eat it with cereal but i was told it's a good source of fiber. it is on the cereal aisle at my store, it's in the "healthy cereal" part of the aisle.

I did a really cool experiment in my college biology course involving wheat germ. I have no idea what we did, but it resulted in us briefly seeing a strand of the DNA. That was awesome.

Sorry, geek moment over. Very Happy
