these venues are pretty damn large
which isn't cool; not at all. i hate the venue in scotland. but hey!

i've heard that in the states there isn't much variety as far as capacity you basically have small venues and big venues, without much in between? confirm/deny.

basically, in england. you've got your pubs that garage bands play, those are about 100-200 capacity. your standard small venues (that unsigned or smaller indie bands play) are generally 300-600 capacity. then you'll find the mid-levels which are 1000-5000, where you'll find your slightly more popular indie bands and your keepin' it real rockstars. after that it's the big places.

I love the barras ! I've gotta admit though its not tickling my fancy for an Eisley gig. Id have liked to have seen them in Tuts to be honest. Now THAT is a venue. Yes yes. Smile

either Tuts or Cabaret Voltaire. Two amazing venues.

(interesting note: I saw Ester Drang play there. Interesting because... Eisly supported him at Brewtones... ahem).
