i've heard that in the states there isn't much variety as far as capacity you basically have small venues and big venues, without much in between? confirm/deny. basically, in england. you've got your pubs that garage bands play, those are about 100-200 capacity. your standard small venues (that unsigned or smaller indie bands play) are generally 300-600 capacity. then you'll find the mid-levels which are 1000-5000, where you'll find your slightly more popular indie bands and your keepin' it real rockstars. after that it's the big places. _________________ "dial" in Welsh means "revenge". If a welsh speaker enters an English phone booth, having paid the coin/phone card the next command the l.e.d screen throws at the customer is "revenge!" thus setting the tone for a confrontational conversation. (thank you mogwai you are all nuts.) |

(interesting note: I saw Ester Drang play there. Interesting because... Eisly supported him at Brewtones... ahem). _________________ She is handsome, she is pretty, she is the girl from Belfast City, she is courtin' one two three, please won't you tell me who is she?
